Fully Electronic Throttle Valve Adjuster
The throttle valve adjuster functions fully electronically and is equipped with a learning capability. After control unit programming or after maintenance work (see Service item), the throttle stop (throttle valve fully closed) must be learnt and stored in the engine control unit EEPROM as the throttle valve zero degrees position. The throttle valve adjuster regulates the idle speed within an angle range of 0 to 15 degrees. The idle speed is regulated exclusively by the position of the throttle valve in the main flow, regulated by the throttle valve adjuster.
