Trouble-shooting: Nominal Value: Cause of Fault:
(If nominal value is not attained)
· Due to malfunctions * in the wiring harness, it is possible that, after ignition "OFF" and "ON", the TECH 1 displays change from NOT RECEIV to RECEIVED.
In this case: Switch off ignition again.
Wait until the break in communications has occurred (approx. 3 sec.).
Switch on ignition (after the communication has been restored, the display shows NOT RECEIV).
Now push vehicle approx. 80 cm/3.15 in. (TECH 1 displays RECEIVED).
* This malfunction occurs only with C 14 NZ and has been eliminated as of Feb. '91.
