The coding plug provides vehicles with the option of switching between 2 fuel qualities:
- 98/95 RON
- 95/91 RON
The coding plug is located in a bracket on the right spring strut dome.
Unclip coding plug from the bracket on the spring strut dome. Open coding plug closure catch, disconnect coding plug from wiring harness plug, turn 180 ° , insert until plug engages. The set octane number appears in the window on the closure catch.
Engine damage may result if fuels of a lower octane number are used than appears in the window on the closure catch.
