· Final stage diagnosis in control unit:
Incorrect voltage level at outputs B 6 and/or B 7 in control unit recognized during initialisation (5 V instead of 0 V).
· Fault 72 is stored immediately after the initialisation test.
If the final stage diagnosis of the control unit has recognized an interruption in the EST A ignition signal lead, the injectors for the cylinder pair 1-4 are switched off (engine runs on two cylinders)
If the final stage diagnosis of the control unit has recognized an interruption in the EST B ignition signal lead, the injectors for the cylinder pair 2-3 are switched off (engine runs on two cylinders)
If an interruption is recognized in both ignition signal leads, all injectors are switched off (engine does not run).
