Safety Measures:
· Never connect or disconnect wiring harness plugs to/from Multec-M
engines with the ignition switched on.
· Before charging or quick-charging, disconnect the battery from the
vehicle electrical system.
· Never use the quick-charger for starting.
· Caution when touching voltage-bearing parts of the ignition system.
IMPORTANT: During test steps which involve the connection of contacts from wiring harness plugs or control units with ground or battery voltage (+12V), proceed with utmost care and concentration.
Incorrect contacting can lead to destruction of internal circuits in the control units in question.
Note: After disconnecting the battery,
radio stations or coding
electronic window winders
may have to be reprogrammed.
