35IDLE06· The idle speed nominal value is not maintained.
AIR CONTROLThe deviation is larger than 75 rpm.
· Engine runs, coolant temperature > 75°C/167°F.
· Throttle valve potentiometer TPS recognizes a
voltage value corresponding to an aperture < 2.0%
· Vehicle speed < 1 km/h (0.6 mph)
· Trouble codes 21, 22, 24 not stored.
Conditions must exist for longer than 4 sec.
(C 12 NZ MY '91 and C 14 NZ as of Feb. '91).
Conditions must exist for longer than 19 sec.
(Only C 14 NZ up to Feb. '91).
See also note! If there is a malfunction in the speed sensor,
for trouble 24!and trouble code 24 is not yet recognized,
trouble code 35 may be set under certain
circumstances.
Note: 90% of all returned idle speed stepper
motors are OK. With trouble code 35
please first carry out Actuator Test No. 2.
If not OK, start trouble-shooting
according to test step 06.
