· Coolant temperature higher than 75 "C / 167 °F
· Throttle valve opening greater than 3 %
· Following trouble codes not stored: 21,22,67,68
· The fault is recognized by the control unit if the oxygen sensor voltage lies in the range of 350 to 550 mV for more than 20 s (lead interruption, oxygen sensor defective).
If trouble code 13 has been recognized, the control unit takes 450 mV as a replacement voltage (oxygen sensor loop switched off).
Note:
If the oxygen sensor is wrapped with aluminium foil, remove foil. Then erase trouble code. If trouble code is re - set, then initiate trouble - shooting.
