Table 2, Multec-S (C 16 XE) F2: TROUBLE CODE

Trouble

· System not in TECH 1 diagnostic mode

· Coolant temperature higher than 80 °C/176 °F

· Battery voltage lies in range of 8 to 16 volts

· Following trouble codes are not stored: 21, 22, 24

· Nominal idle speed is not maintained;

the deviation is greater than 125 rpm

· The above conditions must be satisfied for at least 20 s

Note:

If the speed sensor is not operational and trouble code 24 is not yet recognized, trouble code 35 can be set under certain circumstances.
