Engine Control Unit (Lhd), Remove and Install
Only disconnect wiring harness for control unit when certain that battery has been disconnected for at least 20 seconds.
Disconnect ground cable from battery. Unclip wiring harness plug for injector strip from bracket.
Release and detach wiring harness plugs (1) and (2) from engine control unit.
Remove ground cable (4) from engine control unit bracket.
Remove fastening bolts (3) and remove engine control unit.
Install engine control unit and attach to intake manifold (with 2 bolts).
Attach ground cable to engine control unit bracket. Clip wiring harness for injector strip in bracket.
Connect both wiring harness plugs to engine control unit and lock.
Connect ground cable to battery.
