- 1. Open bonnet
- 2. Disconnect battery.
- 3. Remove battery. • Disconnect positive terminal • Remove battery insulation • Remove bolt • Remove battery
- 4. Remove battery support (1) • Unclip wiring harness bracket (3) • Unscrew 3x bolt (2)
- 5. Raise vehicle by its entire height
- 6. Drain coolant • Attach a suitable hose to the drain connection • Open drain bolt (arrow) • Drain coolant • Close drain bolt
- 7. Remove coolant hose (1) • Release 2x clamp
- 8. Detach coolant hose heat exchanger (5) from coolant pipe • Release clamp
- 9. Loosen coolant feed line to turbocharger (2) • Remove bolt (3)
- 10. Release oil feed line (1) • Remove bolt (4)
- 11. Lower vehicle by its entire height
- 12. Remove coolant pipe (4) • Remove bolt (3)
- 13. Raise vehicle by its entire height
- 14. Place collecting basin underneath.
- 15. Release lower turbocharger oil return line (2) • Remove bolt (5)
- 16. Remove turbocharger oil return line • Unscrew 2x bolt (1)
- 17. Install upper turbocharger oil return line • Insert • Tighten 2x bolt 10 Nm
- 18. Attach lower turbocharger oil return line • Tighten bolt 65 Nm
- 19. Secure oil feed line • Tighten bolt 10 Nm
- 20. Lower vehicle by its entire height
- 21. Install coolant pipe • Tighten bolt
- 22. Raise vehicle by its entire height
- 23. Fasten turbocharger coolant feed line • Tighten bolt 10 Nm
- 24. Attach heat exchanger coolant hose to coolant pipe • Fasten clamp
- 25. Install coolant hose (radiator) • Secure 2x clamp
- 26. Lower vehicle by its entire height
- 27. Install battery support • Clip in wiring harness bracket • Tighten 3x bolt 19 Nm
- 28. Install battery. • Tighten bolt • Install battery insulation
- 29. Connect battery.
- 30. Program volatile memories
- 31. Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.
- 32. Top up and bleed cooling system
- 33. Close bonnet
