How to Replace the Engine Oil Level Sensor Opel Vectra C

DOHC Petrol Engine 2 illustrations

Remove

  1. 1. Remove oil pan
  2. 2. Remove oil baffle plate (1). • Unscrew 2x bolt (2)
  1. 3. Remove oil level sensor • Detach retaining plate (1) in direction of arrow – Remove connector (2) inwards • Detach oil level sensor (3) – Unscrew 2x bolt (4)

Install

  1. 4. Install oil level sensor • Replace seal ring • Tighten 2x bolt 8 Nm • Insert connector • Attach wiring harness • Attach retaining plate
  2. 5. Install oil baffle plate • Tighten 2x bolt 8 Nm
  3. 6. Install oil pan
