Warning: Due to the use of modified camshafts in various model years, it is essential to note the allocation of the camshafts to be replaced and installed.
Allocation
The camshafts (1) to (4) for the various model years are allocated by marking rings of different positions and shapes. The different forms are matched to symbols (see picture).
- 1. Exhaust camshaft cylinders 1-3-5
- 2. Intake camshaft cylinders 1-3-5
- 3. Intake camshaft cylinders 2-4-6
- 4. Exhaust camshaft cylinders 2-4-6
The symbols of the different marking rings and their positions are listed in the diagram below to identify the camshafts.
Important: The marking rings on the camshafts are read in the direction of the arrow.
