Replace Hydraulic Tappets (Z 20 NET) Opel Vectra C

DOHC Petrol Engine 2 illustrations

Remove

1. Remove both camshafts

Note. Remove both camshafts

2. Remove roller cam followers • Remove 16x roller cam followers

Note. Note allocation

Replace Hydraulic Tappets (Z 20 NET)

3. Remove hydraulic valve lifters • Remove 16x hydraulic valve lifters

Replace Hydraulic Tappets (Z 20 NET)

4. Inspect components • 16x valves

Install

5. Insert hydraulic valve lifter • Insert 16x hydraulic valve lifters • Coat sliding surfaces with engine oil
6. Install roller cam followers • Insert 16x roller cam followers • Note allocation

Note. Before installation, soak roller cam follower in oil

7. Install both camshafts

Note. Install both camshafts
