Remove and Install Intake Manifold Upper Part

Remove and Install Intake Manifold Upper Part Opel Vectra C

4. Remove air filter housing (1) with mass air flow meter • Detach secondary air system intake pipe (3) – Undo quick-release fitting – Unclip line • Disconnect mass air flow meter wiring harness plug (2) • Separate cable tie

5. Remove charge air pipe (2) • Release 2x clamp (1) • Disconnect charge pressure sensor wiring harness plug (3) • Unclip power steering line (4) – Unclip 2 clips

6. Remove upper engine cover • Remove oil filler cap • Remove cover • Replace oil filler cap
7. Remove coolant return line (2) • Unclip wiring harness (1) • Release 2x clamp (3) • Unscrew 3 bolts (arrows)

8. Disconnect engine control unit from electrical supply • Disconnect 2 engine control unit wiring harness plugs • Detach earth connection (3) – Remove bolt
9. Detach wiring harness bracket (4) • Remove wiring trough – Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) – Unscrew nut (2) • Disconnect wiring harness plug for intake pipe pressure sensor (3) • Unscrew 2x bolt • Separate cable tie • Unclip wiring harness plug
10. Detach vacuum line (6) from upper part of intake manifold • Undo quick-release fitting

13. Detach upper part of intake manifold • Unscrew 6 bolts (1) • Disconnect wiring harness plug for throttle valve module

14. Install intake manifold upper part • Connect wiring harness plug for throttle valve module • Use new seals • Tighten 6x bolt 23 Nm
15. Attach injection valve wiring harness brackets • Tighten bolt 10 Nm
16. Attach 2 crankcase vent lines • Tighten bolt 10 Nm
17. Attach vacuum line to upper part of intake manifold • Connect quick-release fitting
18. Install wiring harness bracket • Tighten 2x bolt • Connect MAP sensor wiring harness plug • Attach cable ties • Clip in wiring harness plug • Attach wiring trough – Connect wiring harness plug – Attach nut
19. Restore engine control unit electrical connection • Attach earth connection – Tighten bolt • Connect 2x engine control unit wiring harness plugs
20. Install coolant return line • Fit 2x clamp • Tighten 3x bolt 10 Nm
21. Fit charge air pipe • Tighten 2x clamp 3,5 Nm • Connect charge pressure sensor wiring harness plug • Clip in power steering line – Clip in 2x
22. Install air intake pipe. • Tighten 2x clamp 3,5 Nm • Tighten bolt 1,5 Nm
23. Install air cleaner housing with mass air flow meter • Connect mass air flow meter wiring harness plug • Attach cable ties • Attach secondary air system intake pipe – Clip in line – Connect quick-release fitting
24. Install upper engine cover • Remove oil filler cap • Install cover • Replace oil filler cap
25. Connect battery. • Tighten 2x clamp 3,5 Nm • Tighten bolt
26. Close bonnet
