Replace Pistons Opel Vectra C

1. Remove piston locking rings • Remove 2x locking ring (1) with J-43654 (2) – Lug of J-43654 must engage in groove (arrow) on piston base eye

2. Remove piston pin • Push piston pin (1) out of the piston and con-rod by hand

3. Insert piston pin in piston and con-rod • Moisten piston pin and eye with engine oil • Push piston pin into the piston and con-rod by hand
4. Insert locking rings in piston • Use new securing rings • Install 2x locking ring with J-43654 – Insert locking ring with one end in the ring groove – Press in locking ring with J-43654 by a twist movement until it engages fully in the ring groove
