Replace Oil Dipstick Guide Tube Opel Vectra C

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Place collecting basin underneath.

Note. If the engine oil level is at maximum, a certain amount of oil can escape when the oil dipstick guide tube is withdrawn.

3. 3. Remove oil dipstick guide tube (2) • Remove bolt (1) • Remove oil dipstick guide tube upwards

Install

4. 4. Raise vehicle by its entire height
5. 5. Clean oil pan
6. 6. Install oil dipstick guide tube • Replace seal ring – Coat seal ring with fresh engine oil • Insert oil dipstick guide tube into oil pan
7. 7. Lower vehicle by its entire height
8. 8. Fasten oil dipstick guide tube • Tighten bolt 8 Nm
9. 9. Check oil level and correct if necessary with fresh engine oil

Note. Pay attention to prescribed engine oil grade

10. 10. Close bonnet
