Replace Oil Filter Short Circuit Valve Opel Vectra C

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Remove engine cover.

Note. The oil filter short-circuit valve is integrated into the oil filter housing cover and can thus only be replaced as an assembly with the oil filter housing cover.

  1. 3. Remove oil filter short circuit valve • Place collecting basin underneath. • Remove oil filter housing cover/oil filter short-circuit valve (2) using KM-6150 (1)

Install

  1. 4. Install oil filter short circuit valve • Insert oil filter element (1) • Attach oil filter housing cover/oil short-circuit valve – Replace gasket (2) – Tightening torque 25 Nm .
  2. 5. Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.

Note. Observe specified engine oil filling quantity

  1. 6. Attach engine cover.
  2. 7. Close bonnet
