F0: DATA LIST
| No. | Trouble Code Storage when | |
|---|---|---|
| 92 | CAMSHAFT SENSOR | |
| INCORRECT SIGNAL | - | · The camshaft signal voltage level change does not occur between the 1 st and 6th crankshaft teeth on starting |
· If trouble code 92 and an engine speed higher than 8000 rpm were recognized, trouble code 19
(crankshaft signal fault) is also stored
· (Short circuit of signal lead to oscillator lead)
(short circuit to ground or circuit interruption)
· Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 3.5 s
Replacement values:
Emergency operation:
· If the fault occurs while the engine speed is increasing, the engine speed is limited to 4512 rpm, the ignition is retarded by 12 °CA and the knock control is blocked. If the fault occurs during operation, the engine continues functioning without limitations
Note:
An abrupt failure of the camshaft signal during operation (not loose contact) can only be recognized at the next engine start
Emergency operation remains active until next ignition Off
