How to Remove and Install the Engine Control Unit Opel Omega B

Remove

1. 1. Unclip fuse carrier (1) out of relay frame cover (2).
2. 2. Detach relay frame cover.
3. 3. Detach wiring harness plug (4) for temperature sensor.
4. 4. Pull engine control unit housing (3) out of relay frame.

5. 5. Pull temperature sensor (3) in direction of arrow out of engine control unit housing.
6. 6. Detach cover (2) from engine control unit housing.
7. 7. Pull engine control unit in direction of arrow out of engine control unit housing.
8. 8. Detach wiring harness plug (1) from engine control unit.

Install

9. 9. Attach wiring harness plug to engine control unit – ensure that lock engages.
10. 10. Slide engine control unit into engine control unit housing.
11. 11. Attach cover to engine control unit housing.
12. 12. Attach temperature sensor to engine control unit housing.
13. 13. Insert engine control unit housing into relay frame.
14. 14. Connect wiring harness plug to temperature sensor.
15. 15. Attach relay frame cover.
16. 16. Clip fuse carrier into relay frame cover.
