Replace Coolant Pipe. Opel Vectra C

1. Open bonnet
2. Disconnect battery.
3. Detach engine cover. • Unscrew 2x bolt • Unscrew oil filler cap • Remove engine cover • Screw in oil filler cap
4. Remove pollen filter housing
5. Raise vehicle
6. Drain coolant Warning: Only open coolant compensation tank once engine has cooled down • Unscrew coolant compensation tank closure cap • Place collecting basin underneath. • Open drain bolt (arrow)

10. Remove air intake pipe. • Remove bolt • Release 2x clamp
11. Detach upper coolant hose • Release clamp
12. Release oil dipstick guide tube at the top • Remove bolt
13. Remove connection hose from charge air pipe to throttle valve module • Release 2x clamp
14. Detach cover • Unscrew 3x bolt
15. Remove central coolant pipe assembly (1) • Unscrew 5x bolt, nut • Release 4x clamp • Remove gasket.

16. Raise vehicle
17. Close coolant drain bolt
18. Lower vehicle
19. Install coolant pipe assembly • Replace gasket • 5x bolt, nut 9 Nm • Secure 4x clamp
20. Attach cover • 3x bolts 9 Nm
21. Attach upper coolant hose • Fasten clamp
22. Attach oil dipstick guide tube at the top • Bolt 9 Nm
23. Install connection hose from charge air pipe to throttle valve module • 2x clamps 3,5 Nm
24. Attach air intake pipe to turbocharger • Place seal on the turbocharger connection • Attach air intake pipe – Tighten clamp 3.5 Nm • Tighten bolt 9 Nm

Important. Adhere to the following installation sequence

25. Install charge air pipe assembly • 2x clamps 3,5 Nm
26. Attach vacuum line • 2x bolts 9 Nm • Connect 2x hose
27. Install air cleaner housing
28. Attach engine cover. • Unscrew oil filler cap • Place engine cover in position • Screw in oil filler cap • 2x bolts 9 Nm
29. Top up coolant • Observe specified coolant quantity
