Replace Engine Damping Block - Left Side Opel Vectra C

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Disconnect battery.
  3. 3. Raise vehicle
  4. 4. Detach lower engine compartment cover and right-hand engine splash protection if necessary
  5. 5. Attach KM-6313 (1) • Place KM-6313 on left on front axle body (arrows, Fig. I) • Attach both right holders on the front axle body (arrows, Illus. II). • Tighten 2x bolt

Note. Guide pin must be seated in bore in front axle body.

  1. 6. Attach KM-6313-100 (2) • Remove bolt of compressor support • Attach adapter (1) – Screw in bolt
  2. 7. Adjust 3x support • Transmission side • Engine Timing Side

Note. Turn spindles (3) until the mounts are positioned at the guide journals free of play.

Note. Insert journal of support in angle bracket, tighten nut.

  1. 8. Lower vehicle
  2. 9. Remove battery. • Detach positive cable (1) • Remove battery bracket (2) – Remove bolt (3)
  1. 10. Remove battery support (1) • Disconnect ground distribution – Remove bolt (4) • Disconnect positive distribution – Remove bolt (2) • Unscrew 3x bolt (3) • Unclip coolant hose (5) • Unclip control unit of pre-heating system
  1. 11. Detach left engine damping block • Unscrew 3x bolt (1)
  2. 12. Remove left transmission bracket • Unscrew 3x bolt
  3. 13. Remove left engine damping block • Unscrew 4x bolt
  1. 14. Install left engine damping block • 4x bolts 20 Nm
  2. 15. Install left transmission bracket • 3x bolts 55 Nm
  3. 16. Attach left engine damping block • 3x bolts 55 Nm
  4. 17. Install battery support • Tighten 3x bolt • Attach ground distribution – Tighten bolt • Attach positive distribution – Tighten bolt • Attach wiring harness
  5. 18. Install battery. • Install battery bracket – Tighten bolt • Attach positive cable • Attach cover
  6. 19. Raise vehicle
  7. 20. Detach KM-6313-100 • Remove bolt • Detach support • Bolt 50 Nm – From compressor support
  8. 21. Detach KM-6313
  9. 22. Attach lower engine compartment cover and right-hand engine splash protection if removed
  10. 23. Lower vehicle
  11. 24. Connect battery.
  12. 25. Program volatile memories
  13. 26. Close bonnet
