Replace Roller Cam Follower Opel Astra H

Note. When working on the fuel system, cleanliness must be strictly observed as even small particles of dirt can lead to faults in the engine or fuel system. The injectors may only be removed with the engine cold and with unequivocal diagnosis.

Remove

1. 1. Remove both camshafts
2. 2. Remove roller cam follower • Remove 16x roller cam follower

3. 3. Visually check components • 16x hydraulic valve lifter • 16x valve

Install

4. 4. Insert roller cam follower • Insert 16x roller cam follower

Note. Soak roller cam follower in oil prior to installation.

Important. The camshafts must be replaced when the roller cam followers are replaced.

5. 5. Install both camshafts
