Replace Engine Damping Block (Rear) Opel Astra H

Remove

1. 1. Raise vehicle by its full height

Note. When replacing the rear engine damping block bracket, the engine bridge without perforated plate must be used.

2. 2. Attach KM-6001-A (1) • Slacken 3x bolts (arrows) in adjusting rails • Insert KM-6001-A – Insert journals (2) and (5) in guide holes in front axle body • Adjust support bearings, front (4) and rear (3) – Raise support bearings up to the stop on the guide journals • Tighten 3x bolts in adjusting rails

Note. Attaching KM-6001-A guarantees perfect alignment of the drive unit with the front axle body

Note. The guide journals must be seated free from play in the support bearings

3. 3. Remove engine damper block (3) • Unscrew 2x bolts (1) • Remove bolted connection (2)

Install

4. 4. Install engine damping block • Tighten new bolt connection • Tighten 2x bolt 55 Nm

Note. Key (2) must locate in recess (1)

5. 5. Remove engine mount KM-6001-A • Undo 3x bolts
6. 6. Lower vehicle by its full height
