Oil Filter Opel Astra H

Due to a production-side standardisation of the oil filter cover and filter cartridge, the petrol engines Z 10 XEP, Z 12 XEP, Z 14 XEP and Z 14 XEL are equipped with a new oil filter in the current model year 2007.5. The new oil filter is already used in the Z 16 LET and Z 18 XER petrol engines. The oil filter housing has also been changed, as it has been adapted to the new oil filter.

• Service: When replacing the oil filter, one can tell whether it is a new oil filter by comparing the size of the oil filter housing and oil filter cover.
