Replace Oil Pump Pressure Regulating Valve Opel Astra H

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its full height
3. 3. Remove lower engine compartment cover (2) • Unscrew 4x bolts (1) • Remove 2x body-bound rivets (3)

4. 4. Remove oil pump pressure regulating valve (arrow) • Place collecting basin underneath. • Unscrew closure bolt (1) • Remove seal ring (2) • Remove piston (4), spring (3)

5. 5. Visually check components • Piston, spring

Note. Check ease of movement

Install

6. 6. Install oil pump pressure regulating valve • Replace sealing ring • Tighten closure bolt 40 Nm

Note. Coat piston and spring with engine oil

7. 7. Install lower engine compartment cover • Tighten 4x bolts • Install 2x body-bound rivets
8. 8. Lower vehicle by its full height
9. 9. Check and correct engine oil level

Note. Observe specified engine oil filling quantity

10. 10. Close bonnet
