Replace Ribbed V-Belt Opel Astra H

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its full height
3. 3. Remove lower engine compartment cover (2) • Unscrew 4x bolts (1) • Remove 2x body-bound rivets (3)

4. 4. Detach ribbed V-belt • Mark direction of rotation • Tension the ribbed V-belt tensioner using KM-6151 in the direction of the arrow

Install

5. 5. Fit ribbed V-belt • Position ribbed V-belt – Note direction of rotation and installation position of ribbed V-belt • Tension the ribbed V-belt tensioner using KM-6151 in the direction of the arrow
6. 6. Attach lower engine compartment cover • Tighten 4x bolts • Install 2x body-bound rivets
7. 7. Lower vehicle by its full height
8. 8. Close bonnet
