Replace Hydraulic Valve Lifter Opel Astra H

Note. When working on the fuel system, cleanliness must be strictly observed as even small particles of dirt can lead to faults in the engine or fuel system. The injectors may only be removed with the engine cold and with unequivocal diagnosis.

Remove

1. 1. Remove both camshafts
2. 2. Remove roller cam follower • Remove 16x roller cam follower

Note. Observe correct assignment

3. 3. Remove hydraulic valve lifter • Remove 16x hydraulic valve lifter

4. 4. Visually check components • 16x valve

Install

5. 5. Insert hydraulic valve lifter • Insert 16x roller cam follower • Lightly coat sliding surfaces with engine oil
6. 6. Insert roller cam follower • Insert 16x roller cam follower • Observe correct assignment

Note. Soak roller cam follower in oil prior to installation

7. 7. Install both camshafts
