Replace Oil Filter Short Circuit Valve Opel Astra H

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Remove engine cover.

Note. The oil filter short circuit valve is integrated into the oil filter housing cover and can therefore only be replaced in conjunction with the oil filter housing cover.

  1. 3. Remove oil filter short circuit valve • Place collecting basin underneath. • Remove oil filter housing cover/oil filter short circuit valve (2) using KM-6150 (1)

Install

  1. 4. Install oil filter short circuit valve • Insert oil filter element (1) • Tighten oil filter housing cover/oil filter short circuit valve 25 Nm – Replace sealing ring (2)
  2. 5. Check and correct engine oil level

Note. Observe specified engine filling quantity

  1. 6. Attach engine cover
  2. 7. Close bonnet
