Remove and Refit Engine Control Unit (Z 20 NET, AC, Rhd, Mt) Opel Vectra C

Remove

Important. Before removing the engine control unit: perform reset with TECH2

1. 1. When replacing engine control unit • Establish communication • Connect Tech 2

Note. Perform reset with TECH2

2. 2. Open bonnet
3. 3. Disconnect battery. • Detach ground cable
4. 4. Detach upper engine cover
5. 5. Detach engine control unit (1) • Detach 2x wiring harness plug • Unscrew 4x bolt

Note. Release in direction of arrow

6. 6. Install engine control unit • Tighten 4x bolt – Tightening torque 9 Nm

Install

7. 7. Attach upper engine cover
8. 8. Connect battery.
9. 9. When replacing engine control unit • Reprogram engine control unit

10. 10. Complete sticker

Note. Complete sticker and affix

11. 11. Close bonnet
12. 12. Program volatile memories
