Remove and Install Injectors — Opel Vectra C (2002-2008)

Remove and Install Injectors Opel Vectra C

1. Open bonnet
2. Disconnect battery. • Detach ground clamp from ground terminal – Remove nut
3. Detach engine vent pipe (1) • Unclip wiring duct (2) from cylinder head cover • Undo 2 quick-release fittings

4. Detach wiring harness for engine management • Disconnect 9x wiring harness plug – Engine control unit – Mass air flow meter – Tank vent valve – Throttle valve module – Valve - intake camshaft adjustment – 4x injector • Unclip 2x wiring harness bracket • Lay wiring harnesses aside
5. Place collecting basin underneath.
6. Reduce fuel pressure via test connection (1) with KM-J-34730-91 • Catch emerging fuel in suitable container - follow safety regulations and country-specific regulations

7. Remove fuel pressure line (1) • Separate fast closure with KM-796-A • Close fuel line and fuel distributor pipe with KM-807

10. Attach 4x injectors to fuel distribution pipe • Use 4x new sealing rings – Wet sealing ring with silicone grease • Insert 4x injector • Attach 4x retaining clip

Note. Note installation position and correct seat

11. Install fuel distributor pipe • Tighten 2x bolt 8 Nm
12. Attach fuel supply line to fuel distribution pipe • Remove 2x KM-807 • Connect quick-release fitting • Clip into bracket
13. Attach wiring harness for engine management • Connect 9x wiring harness plugs – Engine control unit – Mass air flow meter – Tank vent valve – Throttle valve module – Actuator, inlet camshaft – 4x injector • Clip in 2x wiring harness bracket
14. Install engine vent hose • Fasten 2 quick-release fittings • Clip wiring harness to cylinder head cover
15. Connect battery. • Attach ground clamp to ground terminal – Tighten nuts
16. Program volatile memories
17. Close bonnet
