Replace Oxygen Sensor Opel Vectra C

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery. • Detach ground clamp from ground terminal – Remove nut
3. 3. Raise vehicle by its entire height
4. 4. Detach lower engine compartment cover and right-hand engine splash protection if necessary
5. 5. Disconnect oxygen sensor wiring harness plug (1) • Unclip from bracket
6. 6. Remove oxygen sensor (2) • Unscrew with KM-6129

Install

7. 7. Install oxygen sensor • Lightly coat thread of oxygen sensor with mounting compound • Fasten oxygen sensor 55 Nm

Note. New oxygen sensors are already pretreated

8. 8. Connect oxygen sensor wiring harness plug • Clip into bracket
9. 9. Install lower right engine compartment cover and engine splash protector if necessary
10. 10. Lower vehicle by its entire height
11. 11. Connect battery. • Attach ground clamp to ground terminal – Tighten nuts
12. 12. Program volatile memories
13. 13. Program the oxygen sensor with Tech 2
14. 14. Close bonnet
