Replace Injection Valves Opel Vectra C

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery.
3. 3. Remove air filter housing (1) with mass air flow meter • Detach secondary air system intake pipe (3) – Undo quick-release fitting – Unclip line • Disconnect mass air flow meter wiring harness plug (2) • Separate cable tie

4. 4. Remove air intake hose (1) • Remove bolt (2) • Release 2x clamp

5. 5. Remove upper engine cover • Remove oil filler cap • Remove cover • Replace oil filler cap
6. 6. Remove charge air pipe (2) • Release 2x clamp (1) • Disconnect charge pressure sensor wiring harness plug (3) • Unclip power steering line (4) – Unclip 2

7. 7. Remove coolant return line (2) • Unclip wiring harness (1) • Release 2x clamp (3) • Unscrew 3 bolts (arrows)

8. 8. Detach wiring harness bracket (4) • Remove wiring trough – Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) – Unscrew nut (2) • Disconnect wiring harness plug for intake pipe pressure sensor (3) • Unscrew 2x bolt (5) • Separate cable tie • Unclip wiring harness plug
9. 9. Detach vacuum line (6) from upper part of intake manifold • Undo quick-release fitting

10. 10. Detach 2 crankcase vent lines (1) • Remove bolt (2) • Remove bracket

11. 11. Detach injection valve wiring harness plug retainer (1) • Remove bolt (2)

12. 12. Detach upper part of intake manifold • Unscrew 6 bolts (1) • Disconnect wiring harness plug for throttle valve module

13. 13. Place collecting basin underneath.
14. 14. Relieve fuel pressure with KM-J-34730-91 • Unscrew test connection cap (1)

15. 15. Detach fuel feed line (2) with KM-J-37088-A (1)

16. 16. Disconnect fuel pressure sensor wiring harness plug (1)

17. 17. Remove wiring loom for injectors • Disconnect 7 wiring harness plugs (1 and 2)

18. 18. Remove fuel distribution pipe (1) with injection valve • Unscrew 3x bolt (2)

19. 19. Detach 6 injection valves (3) from fuel distribution pipe (1) • Detach 6 retaining clamps (2) • Replace 12 O-rings (4)

Install

20. 20. Attach 6 injection valves to fuel distribution pipe • Attach 6 retaining clamps
21. 21. Install fuel distribution pipe with injection valve • Tighten 3x bolt 10 Nm
22. 22. Fit injector wiring loom • Connect 7 wiring harness plugs
23. 23. Connect fuel pressure sensor wiring harness plug
24. 24. Attach fuel feed line
25. 25. Install intake manifold upper part • Connect wiring harness plug for throttle valve module • Use new seals • Tighten 6x bolt 23 Nm
26. 26. Attach injection valve wiring harness brackets • Tighten bolt 10 Nm
27. 27. Attach 2 crankcase vent lines • Tighten bolt 10 Nm
28. 28. Attach vacuum line to upper part of intake manifold • Connect quick-release fitting
29. 29. Install wiring harness bracket • Tighten 2x bolt • Connect wiring harness plug for intake pipe pressure sensor • Attach cable ties • Clip in wiring harness plug • Attach wiring trough – Connect wiring harness plug – Attach nut
30. 30. Install coolant return line • Fit 2x clamp • Tighten 3x bolt 10 Nm
31. 31. Fit charge air pipe • Tighten 2x clamp 3.5 Nm • Connect charge pressure sensor wiring harness plug • Clip in power steering line – Clip in 2x
32. 32. Install air intake pipe. • Tighten 2x clamp 3.5 Nm • Tighten bolt 1.5 Nm
33. 33. Install air cleaner housing with mass air flow meter • Connect mass air flow meter wiring harness plug • Attach cable ties • Attach secondary air system intake pipe – Clip in line – Connect quick-release fitting
34. 34. Install upper engine cover • Remove oil filler cap • Install cover • Replace oil filler cap
35. 35. Connect battery. • Tighten bolt
36. 36. Program volatile memories
37. 37. Close bonnet
