· Secure vehicle against rolling away

· Jack up rear of vehicle

· Ignition "ON"

· Rotate rear wheels slowly

· Measurement at wiring harness plugvaries between < 2 V and > 11.5 V
Troubleshooting:Nominal Value:Cause of Fault:
If the speedometer does not function properly:· Check speed sensor and speedometer circuit.

With the speedometer functioning properly:

· Measure resistance with multimeter

to: Vehicle speed sensor P14 (P43)

approx. 0 W· Line interrupted or short circuit to voltage

to: Vehicle speed sensor P14 (P43)

· Measure resistance with multimeter

to: Ground> 20 MW· Short circuit to ground

If nominal values are attained:· Vehicle speed sensor P14 (P43) defective
