Quick On Start Preheating System, Checking Diagnosis
This procedure is not and is not meant to be, exhaustive and as such should only be used as a guideline to the most probable sequence and possible failure modes.
The following is a fuller description of column titles:
Vehicle Status:
The operational state of the vehicle and particularly the engine. Whether the ignition is switched on and if the engine is running etc.
Engine Coolant:
The temperature of the engine coolant, either above or below 0 °C.
Indication:
Reference to the action of either the glow indicator or one of the relays.
OK:
If YES then action of indicator or relay is correct, no further operations are required on this path.
If NO then proceed to CHECK ITEM and from there to TROUBLESHOOTING.
Check Item:
Refers to main item to be checked, whether the item is working properly. Proceed to either OK No or OK Yes.
OK:
Either YES or NO, proceed to relevant item in TROUBLESHOOTING.
