Starter, Remove and Install

Crankcase ventilation valve (3) and hose (5) from air cleaner pipe (2) - clips.

Intercooler hose (1) from intake manifold and intercooler pipe - clips.

Air cleaner pipe (2) from air cleaner and turbocharger - clips.

Heater pipe (1) - nut (3); move heater pipe clear.

Turbocharger heatshield (2) - two bolts and one washer.

Underguard - four screws and washers.

Propshaft - see operation in group K.

Footwell heatshield (2) - two nuts from bottom bracket, slacken two nuts to release support plate (1) from top bracket.

Exhaust front pipe elbow (1) from turbocharger - two bolts, three nuts, gasket.

Starter heatshield (5) - two screws one nut.

Harness connectors from starter terminals B (3) and S (4) - two nuts and washers.

Starter support bracket (2) - one screw, one nut.

Starter (6) - two bolts.

Starter (6) - two bolts.

Starter support bracket (2) - one screw, one nut.

Harness connectors to starter terminals B (3) and S (4) - two nuts and washers.

Starter heatshield (5) - two screws, one nut.

Exhaust front pipe elbow (1) to turbocharger with new gasket - two bolts, three nuts.

Starter and support bracket bolts - 50 Nm / 37 lbf ft.

Starter terminal B nut - 11 Nm / 8 lbf ft.

Starter terminal S nut - 6 Nm / 4 lbf ft.

Starter heatshield screws - 9 Nm / 7 lbf ft.

Starter heatshield / support bracket nuts - 6 Nm / 4 lbf ft.

Footwell heatshield (2) with support plate (1) loosely attached to top and bottom brackets - four nuts.

Footwell heatshield nuts - 7 Nm / 5 lbf ft.

Exhaust front pipe - see operation in group L.

Propeller shaft - see operation in group K.

Underguard - four screws and washers.

Turbocharger heatshield (2) - two bolts, and one washer.

Heater pipe (1) - nut (3).

Underguard screws - 25 Nm / 26 lbf ft.

Turbocharger heatshield bolts - 22 Nm / 16 lbf ft.

Intercooler hose (4) to turbocharger and intercooler pipe - clips.

Air cleaner pipe (2) to air cleaner and turbocharger - clips.

Intercooler hose (1) to intake manifold and intercooler pipe - clips.
