Checking of Temperature Switches
· Remove and disconnect temperature switch / sensor.
· Submerge the end of the temperature switch in water.
· Heat up or cool down the water.
· Measure resistance with multimeter between both connections of the temperature switch / sensor.
| · A switch should open or close at the temperatures given in the corresponding test step. The resistance of a sensor should correspond to the values given in the corresponding test step. | |||
