Safety Measures
· Never disconnect / connect wiring harness plugs from / to control units or other electronic components with the ignition switched "ON".
· Disconnect battery from vehicle electrical system before charging or quick - charging.
· Never disconnect the battery from the vehicle electrical system with the engine running.
· Never use the quick - charger for starting.
· Remove control units before welding operations in their immediate vicinity.
Important:
Test steps in which the connection contacts of wiring harness plugs or control units are connected to ground or battery voltage must be performed with the utmost care.
Incorrectly selected contacts can lead to destruction of internal circuits in the control units in question.
Note:
After disconnecting and reconnecting the battery:
· Reset time
· Return radio function to operational mode by entering code
