Connect circuit tester between glow plug and engine earth.
Switch on ignition - do not start engine.
Glow indicator shall light for 3 seconds.
Circuit tester shall indicate lower supply voltage for 18 seconds.
If a problem is indicated, inspect harness connector, glow relay, and temperature switch.
