Troubleshooting:Nominal Value:Cause of Fault:

· Remove diode V36 (V24 for Monterey) from wiring harness plug.

· Measure voltage with multimeter

from: Diode V36 (V24 for Monterey), wiring harness plug ter. 1 (ter. B for Frontera)

to: Ground
· QWS switch "ON"> 11.5 V
· QWS switch "OFF"0 V· Line interrupted

from: Diode V36 (V24 for Monterey), wiring harness plug ter. 1 (ter. B for Frontera)

to: QWS switch S144, wiring harness plug ter. 5 (Campo / Brava, all except 4JA1)

or

to: Half acceleration switch S163, wiring harness plug ter. 2 (Campo / Brava 4JA1)

or

to: Relay QWS K129 relay socket ter. 3 (Monterey)

to: Relay QWS K129 relay socket ter. 8 (Frontera)

· Measure resistance with multimeter

from: VSV FICD Y57, wiring harness plug ter. 2

to: Groundapprox. 0 W· Line interrupted

from: VSV FICD Y57, wiring harness plug ter. 2

to: Ground

If nominal values are attained:· Line interrupted or short circuit to voltage

from: Diode V36 (V24 for Monterey), wiring harness plug ter. 2 (ter. A for Frontera)

to: VSV FICD Y57, wiring harness plug ter. 1

or

· Diode V36 (V24 for Monterey) defective

or

· Air conditioning is activated
