Function Check EGR
Before commencing the checks as specified in the checking program (see section 9.2.2 ) first check whether the exhaust gas recirculation system is functioning properly.
· Warm up the engine
· Check the EGR valve motion visually at different engine speeds with gear in neutral (no load)
· The valves should open and close visually
