Replace Rear Engine Damping Block Adapter Opel Vectra C

DOHC Diesel Engine 6 illustrations ~223 words

Remove

  1. 1. Remove front axle body
  2. 2. Remove catalytic converter support (1) • Unscrew 2x bolt
  1. 3. Lower vehicle by its entire height
  2. 4. Remove turbocharger heat shield (2) • Unscrew 4x bolt (1)
  1. 5. Detach front exhaust pipe (1) from turbocharger • Unscrew 3x nut • Remove gasket.
  1. 6. Raise vehicle by its entire height
  2. 7. Release catalytic converter • Lay catalytic converter aside
  3. 8. Remove turbocharger heat shield (1) • Unscrew 2x nut
  1. 9. Remove catalytic converter downwards
  2. 10. Detach catalytic converter heat shield (2) • Unscrew 2x nut (1)
  1. 11. Remove rear engine damping block adapter (1) • Unscrew 3 bolts (arrows)

Install

  1. 12. Install rear engine damping block adapter • Tighten 3x bolt 80 Nm
  2. 13. Install heat shield, catalytic converter • Tighten 2x nut 20 Nm
  3. 14. Insert catalytic converter from below
  4. 15. Install turbocharger heat shield bracket • Tighten 2x nut
  5. 16. Fit catalytic converter support • Screw in 2x bolt
  6. 17. Lower vehicle by its entire height
  7. 18. Attach front exhaust pipe to turbocharger • Replace gasket • Tighten 3 new nuts 23 Nm
  8. 19. Install catalytic converter heat shield • Tighten 4x bolt 8 Nm
  9. 20. Raise vehicle by its entire height
  10. 21. Fasten support for catalytic converter • Tighten 2x bolts 28 Nm
  11. 22. Install front axle body
