Replace Rear Engine Damping Block Adapter Opel Vectra C

Remove

1. 1. Remove front axle body
2. 2. Remove catalytic converter support (1) • Unscrew 2x bolt

3. 3. Lower vehicle by its entire height
4. 4. Remove turbocharger heat shield (2) • Unscrew 4x bolt (1)

5. 5. Detach front exhaust pipe (1) from turbocharger • Unscrew 3x nut • Remove gasket.

6. 6. Raise vehicle by its entire height
7. 7. Release catalytic converter • Lay catalytic converter aside
8. 8. Remove turbocharger heat shield (1) • Unscrew 2x nut

9. 9. Remove catalytic converter downwards
10. 10. Detach catalytic converter heat shield (2) • Unscrew 2x nut (1)

11. 11. Remove rear engine damping block adapter (1) • Unscrew 3 bolts (arrows)

Install

12. 12. Install rear engine damping block adapter • Tighten 3x bolt 80 Nm
13. 13. Install heat shield, catalytic converter • Tighten 2x nut 20 Nm
14. 14. Insert catalytic converter from below
15. 15. Install turbocharger heat shield bracket • Tighten 2x nut
16. 16. Fit catalytic converter support • Screw in 2x bolt
17. 17. Lower vehicle by its entire height
18. 18. Attach front exhaust pipe to turbocharger • Replace gasket • Tighten 3 new nuts 23 Nm
19. 19. Install catalytic converter heat shield • Tighten 4x bolt 8 Nm
20. 20. Raise vehicle by its entire height
21. 21. Fasten support for catalytic converter • Tighten 2x bolts 28 Nm
22. 22. Install front axle body
