Load Pressure Sensor, Y30DT Opel Vectra C

Objective:

Check operation of the load pressure sensor.

Measurement:

Plot of voltage at the signal output of the load pressure sensor.

Preparation:

Switch off the engine and ignition. Engine oil temperature greater than 80°C .

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead to pin 1 of the plug connector of the load pressure sensor. Connect the black ground lead to the ground..

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Start engine and allow it to idle.
  3. 3. Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the limit stop and immediately release it again. The measurement should not take longer than half a second.

  1. 1. Download Setup file (the Tech 32 uses only Setup files, no reference curves).
  2. 2. Start engine and allow it to idle.
  3. 3. Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the limit stop and immediately release it again. The measurement should not take longer than half a second.
