Guide Vane Control Rod Position Sensor Opel Vectra C

Objective:

Operational check of the guide vane control rod position sensor.

Measurement:

PPlot of voltage at the signal of the guide van control rod position sensor.

Preparation:

Engine oil temperature greater than 80 °C . Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead to pin 3 of the plug connector of the guide vane control rod position sensor. Connect the black ground lead to the ground.

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
  3. 3. Depress the accelerator quickly to the limit stop and immediately release it.

  1. 1. Download Setup file (the Tech 32 uses only Setup files, no reference curves).
  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
