Remove Engine Venting Cover, Cylinder Block Opel Vectra C

Remove

1. 1. Remove high pressure pump
2. 2. Remove coolant hose (1), coolant pipe, cylinder heads to cooler, exhaust gas recirculation • Release clamp

3. 3. Remove engine venting cover, cylinder block (1) • Unscrew 8x bolt • Unscrew 2x nut

Install

4. 4. Clean sealing surface

5. 5. Install engine venting cover, cylinder block • Tighten 8x bolt 10 Nm • Tighten 2x nut 10 Nm

Note. Apply a 2 - 3 mm bead of sealant (grey) evenly (arrow). Note tightening sequence (1 - 10).

6. 6. Install coolant hose, coolant pipe, cylinder heads to cooler, exhaust gas recirculation • Fasten clamp
7. 7. Install high pressure pump
