Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Opel Vectra C

Objective:

Checking the electrical and mechanical functions of the fuel rail pressure sensor.

Measurement:

Plot of voltage at the control input of the fuel rail pressure sensor

Preparation:

Engine oil temperature greater than 80 °C . Switch off all electrical loads. Switch off the engine and ignition.

Connections:

INPUT ACOM/TRIGGERINPUT B
Connect the red measurement lead to terminal 2 of the plug connector for the fuel rail pressure sensor. Connect the black ground lead to ground.

Procedure Tech 31:

  1. 1. Download Reference curve.
  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
  3. 3. Depress the accelerator pedal quickly down to the limit stop and then release it again.

  2. 2. Start the engine and allow it to idle.
