Inductive Pulse Pick-Up, Remove and Install
Disconnect wiring harness plug for inductive pulse pick-up and unclip wiring harness plug from bracket. Disconnect cable from wiring harness (see illus. I).
Unbolt pulse pick-up from bracket on oil pump housing (1, see illus. II).
Insert pulse pick-up in bracket, ensuring absolute cleanliness, otherwise the reference dimension between the pulse pick-up and increment disc will be too large.
Inductive pulse pick-up to inductive pulse pick-up bracket - 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
Clip wiring harness plug for inductive pulse pick-up into bracket and connect. Fasten cable to wiring harness - ensure that cables are correctly routed.
