· Final stage diagnosis in control unit:
Incorrect voltage condition at output Ter. E14 of control unit
(ignition signal EST-A) is recognised 6 times
(short circuit to voltage)
Effects:
· The injectors for cylinder pair 1-4 are switched off
· Oxygen sensor regulation is switched off, i.e. open oxygen sensor loop
· The engine telltale is ON
If trouble codes 41 and 42 are recognised simultaneously:
· Engine not running: The injectors for cylinder pairs 1-4 and 2-3 are switched off
· Engine running: Only the injector pair where the fault occurred first is switched off.
