Control Unit
The control unit opens the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve depending on the vehicle speed, the engine load condition and the coolant temperature.
It compares the commanded position of the solenoid valve with the current actual position. If there is a difference, trouble codes are stored.
An output final stage in the control unit that switches terminal F1 to ground replaces the exhaust gas recirculation module used in the X 12 SZ / X 16 SZ engines.
