Features Specific to this System
The Multec-S system is equipped with self- diagnosis. This means:
If the Multec-S control unit recognises a fault in the system, it is stored after a certain amount of time. If any trouble codes are stored, the engine telltale in the instrument is switched on.
Note: Sporadic faults (e.g. loose contacts) can be determined using the TECH 1 snapshot mode.
Important: Trouble codes can only be erased using TECH 1. After diagnosis with TECH 1 is completed, the ignition must be switched off at least once.
