· Engine speed greater than 600 rpm and less than 5000 rpm
· In order to recognise the fault, the control unit uses an internal evaluation logic of the knock sensor voltage, which is measured for a certain period of time.
Replacement value:
· If the engine load signal is greater than 3.3 ms and the coolant temperature is greater than - 0.3 °C (31.5 °F): the control unit retards the spark angle up to 10.5 °CA for safety reasons. (Value varies depending on the engine speed)
